I'm baack! I'm going to try to start blogging again..I forgot how much fun I had with it when I was traveling this summer! Even through the busyness of the semester, I've found how important it is to step back and reflect. I've been challenged to memorize the book of James over the next 5 months and through this memorization, the Lord has revealed amazing things so far. It's been tough because of all the distractions in life, especially college life. I've been reminded that anything that is quenching God's spirit away from me is not worth it.
Something that has really caught my attention in James is the simple concept of love.
"If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, 'Love your neighbor as yourself,' you are doing right." James 2:8
"Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us." 1 John 4:11-12
Sharing this simple love with one another just as Christ has shown us could be the only bible that others read! If we love one another, God lives in us and His love is made complete in us. It's so humbling to know that God can live through us just by simply loving one another. What a desire it is for His love to be made complete in us. The beautiful thing is that when He comes, He sees who we were, who we are, and who we will become.....and he still loves us. Unconditionally.
